We’ve had an incredible first day of action, with plenty of drama, great tennis and lots of fun!

First up were the 14U Boys, with Ollie Mallett and Sunny Pound battling their way through to Friday’s final!

Then it was the girls’ turn, with a super-close semi-final between Jess and Florence. Jess came through to set up a final showdown with Poppy!

Men’s Over 35s Singles: Steve Finch took the title — congratulations Steve!

But the highlight of the day had to be our first-ever Junior & Adult competition! What an afternoon of fun, laughter and some fantastic tennis. Matt and Lilia Trudgeon came out on top, beating Erik and Fenna Dirkx in a brilliant final!

Stars of the day: Yasmina Wight and Otto Campos Trolle, who absolutely left it all on the court!

What a way to kick off the County Champs!

Day 2 - Monday 24th August What a day! From our minis right through to the Over 60s, there’s been something for everyone at the County Champs!

The day kicked off with the 18U girls’ and boys’ singles. Millie and Katia battled their way through and will meet in the final on Friday! The boys’ draw is halfway through, with the action continuing tomorrow.

And there was more success for Jess in the 14U girls’ doubles, where she and Florence took the title after an incredible match! Millie was back on court later in the day with doubles partner Katia, and the pair claimed the 18U girls’ doubles title, beating Ruby and Chloe.

We finished the day with our second-generation doubles event, and this time it was the turn of the minis! After some fantastic matches, Jon and Felix, fresh back from their holidays, took the title!

Day 3 saw the Orange Ball take centre stage - and what a fantastic competition it was!

Played in a brilliant atmosphere and with great spirit throughout, the players even got involved with putting away the lines at the end!

A special shout-out to Tim Hill, who stepped in at the last minute to run the competition - thank you, Tim!
