Ladies 65+ battle the heat against Wiltshire

Cornwall over 65 ladies played at the Heron on Wednesday 8th July against Wiltshire and boy, was it hot!

Susie Scorse and Jackie Rice as first pair had a tough match against their first pair but came out on top in the third set CTB. Against their 2nd pair they came through 6-0, 7-5 so both rubbers for Cornwall.

In the absence of our captain, Nikki Littler, Gail Fraser teamed up with Jo Travis.

They lost to the 1st pair in straight sets but against the 2nd pair the team had yet another 3rd set CTB and again Cornwall came out on top.

Well played ladies, a super 3 - 1 win.
