Kernow Team Challenge

After a lot of hard work in their county training for the youngest players from across the country (8’s, 9’s and 10’s), they ended the day enjoying the Kernow Team Challenge.

Penzance Tennis Club kindly hosted the first event with Julie Williams, Ian Vidgen and Joel Fern all volunteering their time to run the event for 25 players.

Parents and players were kept fed from the club providing a BBQ, whilst on court the red team battled against the blue team initially with a warm up of ultimate frisbee, then on to an agility course with water balloons, before settling into some singles and doubles and a team game of Texas tennis to close.

The red team took the first overall trophy with 26 points.
